Author description

Jeff Kennett AC is the founding Chairman of beyondblue: the national depression initiative and has been Chairman since 2000. He was a Member of the Victorian Parliament for 23 years, and was Premier of the State from 1992 to 1999. Prior to that he was Leader of the Opposition 1982-1989; 1991-1992. In 2005 Mr Kennett was awarded the Companion of the Order of Australia.
