This book takes young adults on a thrilling voyage to discover the Solar System, and the features of the planets it comprises, of their moons and satellites and of its star, the Sun. This project combines, very effectively, the educational aspect with the pleasure of the discovery. Its concertina-folded pages can be turned as in a book, to come closer gradually to each objective, and opened out completely, for young readers to admire the illustrations which show, with extraordinary efficacy, the majesty of space surrounding us. AGES: 6 and up AUTHOR: Giulia De Amicis is surrounded by pets and illustrated books and with a strong inclination for freehand drawing and collage since early childhood. After studying Communication Design at Milan Polytechnic shespecialised in data and information visualization with Density Design Lab. Since her graduation she has worked as an information designer and illustrator for several design studios, NGOs and marine organisations. She currently work and live in Brighton, UK.
